I am a wife, a mother, a daughter, a sister, a niece, a cousin, an aunt, a friend, a student, a teacher, and most importantly, a faithful servant of God. Born and raised in Los Angeles and Palmdale, I have been blessed to attend Catholic schools throughout my educational career: St. Brendan School, Notre Dame Academy, Seattle University (Bachelor of English Literature, Theology Minor), and Loyola Marymount University (Master of Arts in Elementary Education and California Teaching Credential). I also served one year with the Jesuit Volunteer Corps, Northwest Region and worked on the Crow Indian Reservation. Working with Crow students in Montana affirmed my childhood dream of becoming a teacher. My experiences in school and with others have taught me to appreciate all the people who have guided and helped me through life. I am blessed by the vocation of teaching. When I’m not grading papers or preparing lesson plans, I enjoy being with my husband and son, family, and friends, traveling back to Seattle, taking photos, and scrapbooking.
